Licensing model
You license the process. You keep your plant. You pay per verified ton.
Acriva does not build or buy cement plants. Producers license the process for their own lines and keep their plant, logistics and operations. An upfront technology fee opens the license; after that, royalties follow production: nothing is owed on a ton that was never made or never verified.
What you license
The proprietary process and know-how
Process specification, activation method, material qualification and the documentation framework, under license and trade-secret protection.
What you pay
A technology fee, then a royalty per verified ton
The upfront fee covers access to the process and its implementation. The royalty is set in the license agreement, tied to the plant's production log and due only on verified volumes.
What you receive
Certificates, support and a baseline
Implementation engineering, a documented plant baseline, production documentation for each verified ton, and technical support from screening through production.
From first contact to production
How we work with you
Four steps take a plant from first data exchange to licensed production. You see the results on your own inputs before any license is signed.
-
01
Request and screening
You share plant data, available residue streams and current CO₂ intensity. We screen technical fit and give a first view of the reduction potential.
Typical duration: 2 to 4 weeks
-
02
Pilot evaluation
Material qualification and test production on your inputs, with compressive strength and CO₂ measurements against your baseline.
Typical duration: 3 to 6 months
-
03
License structuring
Technology fee, royalty per ton, scope of lines and products, verification method and the rights to the resulting environmental attributes are set out in the license agreement.
Typical duration: 1 to 3 months
-
04
Production and royalties
Low-carbon cement goes into production on your existing lines. Each verified ton is documented, certified and invoiced.
Ongoing, per production period
Pilot program
Start with a plant screening.
The pilot program takes a producer from first data exchange to test production on its own inputs. You see the reduction potential, the strength results and the royalty case before any license is signed.
- Screening of plant data, residue streams and current CO₂ intensity
- Material qualification and test production on your own inputs
- Compressive strength and CO₂ measurements against your baseline
- A documented royalty case and license term sheet
